Oahu, the third largest of the Hawaiian Islands, is the most visited and the most populated of the Hawaiian Islands. It is nicknamed "The Gathering Place" due to its enormous and diverse blend of cultures and people. The nearly 1 million residential population of Oahu represents approximately 80% of all the combined Hawaiian Islands. Its largest city, Honolulu, is the capital of the Hawaiian state. Other well known destinations on Oahu includes Waikiki, The North Shore, Kailua, Hale`iwa and Pearl Harbor.

Oahu offers an enormous variety of year round activities. The lush greenery of the island, its beautiful white sand beaches, its towering mountain ranges and spectacular waterfalls makes it a true island paradise.
