Me,My 3 Kids & Hawai'i

Our Hawai'i experience was beyond compare...I have dreamt of taking my children to Hawai'i since they were babies.Finally last summer,I knew it was THEIR time! Danielle my 16 year old daughter,Erick my 13 year old son and my baby girl,11 year old Taylor as well as myself (mom)hopped a plane out of San Francisco and landed uneventfully in Honolulu 5 and 1/2 hours later. My kids fell in love..just as I had 33 years earlier...the first time I stepped off a plane into the Hawai'ian Sunshine and caught the intoxicating scent of plumeria blossoms drifting in the sultry Hawaiian breeze.We headed to our hotel where we spent 10 wonderful days at the Outrigger Waikiki(ocean-front)from the moment my little California Kids stepped onto the White Sands of Waikiki...they knew they were home...laying-out as the perfect tropical breeze ruffled their hair,surfing,swimming,lounging and people-watching..they had a ball and I had a ball watching their first experience of the most perfect Islands in the world...we enjoyed our time on Oahu and moved on to Maui for 11 days...where we did more of the same..but also made our way up the Hana Hiway to another part of Heaven-on-Earth..where we road horse-back up into the Hills of Hana..then we made our way back down to the Seven-Sacred Pools..I watched again as my children enjoyed ALL the same things I had as a kid(swimming in the waterfalls,jumping from the cliffs into the beautiful pools 20 feet below)) when my mom would bring myself along with my 3 brothers and sisters to Hawai'i...It made me feel so very close to my Wonderful Mother once again as I felt the joy I know she felt watching us,her children, enjoy ourselves as I was watching mine at this moment in time...these are the times and moments I will cherish for always...and my beautiful Hawai'i was in on the Heart-Felt JOY...Until We Meet Again My Perfect Islands of Aloha...Mahalo,Michelle,Danielle,Erick and Taylor...
