With the tough economic times, statistics show that the average person works an extra two to five hours per day in trying to make ends meet or in preparation for tougher times ahead. A lot of people are therefore finding themselves working in whats considered a "burn out mode". This is when a vacation is warranted. If you work hard you deserve to also play hard.

The dilemma however, and the question that one may ask is how do i pay for a vacation in tough economic times like these? Most vacation destinations, like Hawaii are currently seeing a significant decrease in the amount of vacationers. While this is bad news for tourist destination, it is great news for vacationers. With a decrease in numbers of visitors, prices fall and do so dramatically. Here in Hawaii, the average cost of for hotel accommodation has fallen by more than one third of the cost for this time in 2007. So to answer the previous question, it simply boils down to this, if you are going to eventually take a vacation and you currently CAN afford it, now is the best time ever to go.
