We visited my daughter April 26-May 4, 2008 in Kailua on the island of Oahu. Unfortunately our son-in-law was detached, protecting our Pacific Rim. They purchased a condo in Kailua Sept. '07 so we knew going there we had great room and board and a personal tour guide! I was so excited to be seeing my daughter and in such a beautiful setting. Well, I had NO idea of just how truly beautiful it was. Breathtaking beauty, a true paradise.

We Love Hawaii

We love Hawaii!!! This is our third trip to the islands and we still can't get enough. After the hustle and bustle of life and our jobs it is always so relaxing and refreshing for us to go away, far away and forget it all. The people of Hawaii are warm and friendly. The attractions of the islands are amazing. The relaxed and laid back way of life is so welcoming. Then this was all coupled with spectacular beaches and amazing sceneries. We are so refreshed after such a vacation. Thanks to this truely amazing hidden gem of islands on our planet.

Me,My 3 Kids & Hawai'i

Our Hawai'i experience was beyond compare...I have dreamt of taking my children to Hawai'i since they were babies.Finally last summer,I knew it was THEIR time! Danielle my 16 year old daughter,Erick my 13 year old son and my baby girl,11 year old Taylor as well as myself (mom)hopped a plane out of San Francisco and landed uneventfully in Honolulu 5 and 1/2 hours later.

I Enjoyed My Vacation In Hawaii Without Spending A Lot

My boyfriend and I went to Hawaii and we stayed at Sand Villa. We didnt have much to spend so Sand Villa was a great stay. For the amount we spent, the hotel was good. They have a pool and offer breakfast daily. We didnt go on many attractions - we did hike up Diamond Head though. That was really difficult, but the summit was definitely worth it - the view is beautiful! Other than that, we stayed on the beach and/or pool pretty much most of the time. The shopping is incredible...they have all the stores you can imagine - even the ones I wish I could shop in (Chanel, Coach, etc).

A Dream Come Through

My dreams came through in Hawaii yesterday evening. The man i love more than life itself went down on his knees and asked me to marry him. We were on a fancy dinner cruise off the coast of Waikiki beach when it all happened. My head is still in the clouds or maybe I am just dreaming, but if that is the case i dont want to wake up and i dont want to leave this place.
