Maui Night Entertainment

Location

There are three night shows that we know of in Maui: 'Ulalena, Warren & Annabelle's Magic Nightclub and The Sugar Cane Train's Sunset BBQ Dinner & Show. 'Ulalena and Magic Nightclub offer different packages which may or may not include food/beverages. The Sunset BBQ Dinner & Show is a one package deal.

Ulalena is family friendly - the show consists of live music that is produced by a collection of sticks, drums, and flutes. There are over 100 different instruments used throughout the show.

Warren & Annabelle's Magic Nightclub it is a magic show performed by Warren Gibson. You'll be treated to a night of laughter, mystery, and amazement. The content is for general audiences, but because it takes place in a nightclub, no one under 21 is admitted.

The Sunset BBQ Dinner & Show is an activity, dinner, and show - all in one. The night starts off with a steam-driven narrow-gage railroad train ride (similar to the ones used to haul sugar cane in the 1800’s) where you will see views of West Maui Mountains and nearby islands of Molokai and Lanai. At the conclusion of the train ride visitors are treated with a buffet-style Hawaiian BBQ menu. The night show features live local music and dancing.

'Ulalena and Magic Nightclub have received rave reviews, but depending on your position (kids, dinner menu) you may prefer one over the other. The shows are both one block apart in Lahaina, and they both take place in the evening. The Sugar Cane Train runs multiple trips daily between Kaanapali and Lahaina on their 6 miles of track. No advanced reservations are necessary for the daytime train ride. The evening Sunset Dinner Train requires advanced reservations and often fills up a week or more in advance during busy periods.
